Your organisation’s perspective

A view of the organisation, informed by people who know it.

Who should answer?

Someone who understands how your organisation approaches AI: an owner, director or a colleague responsible for its adoption. They should be able to answer about current practice across the organisation, rather than only their own use.

Answer what you know

Describe what happens today, rather than what you intend to introduce. Where you’re unsure, use the available “Don’t know” option. Gaps in knowledge can be useful findings too.

What your report contains

Your report explores two perspectives. Readiness looks at how prepared your organisation is to adopt AI. Use looks at how AI is becoming part of everyday work. It includes detail on the areas that may deserve attention. AI analysis draws on your index answers and a basic organisation profile to help put those findings in context.

Use it to consider your next steps

Read the report alongside your own knowledge of the organisation. Use it to identify questions to explore, priorities to discuss and where practical support could help.

A complementary perspective

The Personal AI Index explores individuals’ own experience of AI at work. It provides a different perspective; personal results and organisation findings are not interchangeable.

Put your findings to use

Set your priorities. Return to review progress.

Use your report to start a discussion about what is working, what is unclear and where attention could help. Choose a few practical priorities that fit your organisation.

1 · Agree what matters

Discuss the findings with the people responsible for AI adoption and those doing the work. Identify where clearer guidance, better access to tools or practical training could help.

2 · Put changes into practice

Give each priority an owner and agree when to review it. Allow time for changes to become part of everyday work before repeating the index.

3 · Review what has changed

Take the index again and consider the findings alongside evidence from your organisation. Look at changes in working practices, not just changes in scores.

Check the index version and compare findings with what happens at work, not scores alone. How to use Research beta results.

Your organisation’s information

Clear about access. Sharing by choice.

Your organisation’s findings

The AI Adoption Index captures answers about your organisation’s practices. Its report is intended for the people authorised to access your organisation’s findings.

Sharing with The AI Lab

Taking the index through The AI Lab does not give us blanket access to your organisation’s information. Your organisation controls the sharing of named results through Benchmark Lab’s sharing controls. You can use your report without buying training or advice.

Grouped findings

Eligible responses may contribute to grouped findings, subject to Benchmark Lab’s participation rules and minimum response thresholds. Grouped findings are distinct from sharing your organisation’s named report.

Your people’s personal results

The Personal AI Index is separate. Your organisation does not see anyone’s individual personal answers or results. Where eligible responses contribute to a grouped personnel view, at least six people must have taken part.
