Accessibility statement
Last updated 26 October 2026
The AI Lab wants its website and training services to be accessible to as many people as possible, including people who use a keyboard, a screen reader or browser zoom. We aim to meet the international WCAG 2.2 AA standard. This is an accessibility aim, not a claim that every part of the site has passed a full accessibility audit.
What this statement covers
This statement covers The AI Lab website and access to our training and advisory services. Benchmark Lab provides the indices and their reports through its own platform. Visit Benchmark Lab for information about that platform, or contact us if you need help finding the right support.
Our approach
We design the site to support:
- Clear headings and meaningful page structure for assistive technology.
- Keyboard navigation, visible focus indicators and a skip-to-content link.
- Labelled form fields and text alternatives for meaningful images and ratings.
- Readable layouts on smaller screens and when using browser zoom.
- Reduced motion for people who choose that setting on their device.
We have run automated checks on the updated public pages and tested key keyboard interactions in Chrome. Screen-reader, zoom and broader browser and device checks remain to be completed. We will update this statement as testing identifies improvements or confirms fixes.
Known limitations
- The course feedback survey has not been tested with a screen reader yet.
- A heading accent in the training-hub sign-in panel has lower colour contrast than our target.
If the survey or hub is difficult to use, please contact us so we can help you provide feedback or access information another way.
Training and alternative formats
Please tell us about any access requirements before booking or attending training. We can discuss the delivery format, materials and any adjustments that would help you take part. If you need website or course information in a different format, contact us and we will discuss what we can provide.
Compatibility
The site is intended to work with current versions of major browsers, including Chrome, Edge, Safari and Firefox, and with assistive technology. Compatibility can vary between browsers, devices and tools. If you encounter a problem, tell us which you were using, if you can.
For information about cookies and personal data, read our privacy notice.
Tell us about a problem
If something is hard to use, or you need information in a different format, email hello@theailab.co.uk. Tell us which page or service you were using, what went wrong and what would help. We aim to reply within five working days and will do our best to help you access the information or service you need.
