Your results

How you use AI. How carefully you use it.

Your answers give you two headline measures: Use and Care. They describe your reported working habits, rather than testing your technical knowledge. There is no single combined score.

Use

How much AI touches your work, and how you brief it and work with it.

Care

How you check what AI gives you, what information you keep out of it, and how open you are about using it.

The detail behind your results

Six areas help you see the pattern: Reach, Method, Growth, Checking, Boundaries and Openness. Growth describes your recent learning activity and is shown separately from the two headline measures.

These are indicative results based on your answers. Use them to reflect on your habits and choose what to explore next.

Your results are a starting point for reflection. Look at the individual areas, consider what fits your experience, and choose one or two habits you’d like to develop.

1 · Choose something useful

You might practise briefing an AI tool more clearly, check its answers more consistently, or decide what information you should keep out of it. Focus on what would help in your own work.

2 · Give it time

Put those habits into practice before taking the index again. Most questions ask about the last four weeks, so repeating it immediately is unlikely to tell you much about lasting change.

3 · Reflect on the difference

Compare your findings with your earlier results and what you’ve noticed at work. Consider changes in your tasks, access to tools and opportunities to use AI, alongside anything you’ve learned.

Check the index version and compare findings with what happens at work, not scores alone. How to use Research beta results.

Your information

Your results are yours.

Who sees your individual results?

Your employer, manager and the person who invited you do not see your individual answers or results. Benchmark Lab staff can access your answers under access controls to run and improve the index, not to report on you to your employer.

If you take part independently

Your responses are not automatically included in an organisation’s grouped findings simply because you work there.

If you join an organisation’s review

Eligible responses can contribute to grouped findings once at least six people have taken part. The organisation may see that you have responded, but not your individual answers or results. The index explains how your participation is connected before you begin.
